All-Con 2024 was held at the Hilton Dallas Lincoln Center from March 14-17. The emotional center of the convention this year was the memorial for Daniel Calhoun, aka Captain AmeriDad.

The Dallas Fan Festival was held at the Irving Convention Center from October 20-22, 2023. The DFW Critter Crew this year was placed in the same room as the Cosplay Hideaway, so I don’t have pics from the room, but I did get out and about with the Critters and other cosplayers.

On August 5, 2023, the Denton Comic Art Expo moved to the Denton Civic Center, allowing for much more room to breathe while taking in all the great work done by local artists.

Fan Expo Dallas was held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, TX from June 9-11, 2023. Much like the last Dallas Fan Festival, I spent the majority of the con in the DFW Critter Crew room, taking photos of visitors to the tavern set.

Dallas Fan Festival was held at the Irving Convention Center from October 14-16, 2022. Unlike most conventions, I spent most of my time as the photographer for the DFW Critter Crew, capturing their activities as well as visitors to the tavern set.

The cosplay contest was shorter than usual this year (largely due to the removal of the walk-on portion), but there was still an immense amount of talent on display. Winners this year took home cash and prizes supplied by Fan Expo and Nebraska Furniture Mart (which also hosted the Countdown cosplay contest a few weeks ago).

After the con closed for the evening on Saturday, things started getting weird at the Texas Theatre, as a number of Loki variants (and other heroes of various universes) gathered to dance, drink, and be judged (for the cosplay contests, that is…).
